Autometers Alliance Ltd offers indegeniously manufactured state of the art Public Address and Passenger Information System (PA/PIS) specifically designed and devloped technology suited to indian condition Buses. The microprocessor-based electronic system comprises audio and visual equipments and a central console unit.
The PA/PIS closely integrates the audio and visual functions for conveying the desired information (Route Number, Destination, Current & Next Bus Stop and Special Messages to Passengers) . The central console unit controls these functions. The system generally consists of:
A. Visual equipment
Visual equipment, consisting of Front Destination Display,Rear Destination Display, Side Destination Display and Internal message display conveys journey-related information for the convenience of passengers, both on the Bus Stop and inside the Bus. Based on the proven hardware and software concepts and made of ultra bright/multi-colored LEDs, this equipment is installed at suitable locations in the bus to give clear visual displays. These displays can be customized with regard to their sizes, ambient lighting conditions and mounting locations. The central control unit of the passenger information system drives these displays
B. Audio equipment
Audio equipment is used for automatic announcements to passengers traveling in the Bus
This equipment generally comprises:
Power amplifier unit
4 Speakers (Front, Rear , 2 Gates )
C. Driver Console unit
This customized electronic unit with In-built GPS Module is the heart of the system and deals with the basic audio, auto-announcing and interfacing of critical functions identified by the user. It can be designed according to the customers application and requirements. It contains a user interface, allowing data input in the form of route data base, audio visual messages.
