Technical Features
- Crimping: Termination through crimped joints using special crimping tools.
- EMI Protection: To provide 360° EMI immunity, the data connector provides optimum linking of the cable shield to the cable clamp by means of a separate crimp and shield bushing. The small side spikes on the cable clamp guarantee a gastight connection to the connector shell and crimping ensures easy positioning of the shield bushing.
- Coding: On site coding of data connectors is possible by means of a coding tool. This is carried out by inserting coding slide corresponding to its position in the coding plate. Housing made as Zinc cast and Screws of stainless steel.
Applications
Traction Grade D-Type Data Connectors, fitted with robust cast-zinc covers for 360° EMI screening, are specially developed for control system applications. These connectors can be ordered either individual components or in sets.
