AUXILIARY SUPPLY PANEL

Auxiliary Supply Panel (HB1, HB2) consist of completely wired contactors, circuit breaker etc. it controls the input to several Auxiliary Assemblies of Locomotive like Machine Room Blower, Compressor, Crew Fan, Cab Heater etc.

Control Panel (SB1, SB2) used to control the various function of Locomotive. Control panel provide interface to locomotive device like Pantograph, Traction Converter, Auxiliary Converter, Pneumatic Panel as well as to the control electronics.

Filter Cubicle (FB) is a panel with surge arrester, current sensor, contractor, capacitor etc. It control filterning high frequency harmonics induced from the primary of the main transformer.

Applications

Auxiliary Supply Panel is used for controlling and protection of Compressor, Blowers, Light, Fan, Auxiliary Converter Traction Converter and other related accessories inside the Locomotive.

Panel access

Accessible parts like circuit breaker enclosed with insulated cover to protect electrocution. Provided transparent glass inspection window.

Cable harness

Electron beam cross linked insulation, special cable used in internal wiring.

Component identification

Metallic label with white colour text for clear identification of component inside panel assembly.

Maximum rated voltage

Upto 110VDC, 415 VAC, 1000 VAC.

Earthing 

Earthing connection provided between electric equipment to panel.

Cooling

Natural air cooling.
